Generally we wouldn’t use language like “douche” at SmallTown City. But last night the very pasty, awkward, hipster-haired, unathletic-looking Martyn Rooney from Great Britain taunted fellow heat runners in the men’s 4×100. Prior to when the above photo was taken, he was seen flicking his baton at the runners behind him, urging them to keep up. Then he whispered “Shhhh” to his equally pasty teammates, so as not to call attention to their greatness I suppose.
Oh how we can’t wait for Martyn Rooney to be trounced today!

Martyn Rooney actually runs the 400m…
As someone who was actually in the Birds Nest when that race was run I can verify that M.Rooney did NOT taunt fellow runners with his baton before that photo was taken. The ‘shh’ gesture was actually directed at the British Media.
Could the author of above please describe they’re definition of ‘athletic build’ as M.Rooney is built like the vast majority of other 400m runners.
Perhaps the author might like to get training and take M.Rooney on in 2012…? Lets be honest your opinion is worth nothing unless you can run a lap in less than 45sec.
